London School Site Launch

StMargarets-webWe launched London School, St Margaret's website last week. It was great to be able to work closely with them in the build process through Skype and sharing documents using Google drive.

The site features a password protected parents area as well as galleries, calendar integration, document uploads and an on-line club booking form.

Registered admin staff can log on to keep the site updated using a very easy WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) interface.

www.intelligro.co.nz/how-to-videos

Intelligro have filmed a series of short 'How To' videos specifically for showing you how to plant Spring bulbs in pots and using potting mix safely.

We then set about editing them to add their branding, titles and captions throughout each video. We also included some background music to add depth to the final production.

They are loaded on their Youtube channel and streamed seamlessly through their website adding a great resource for keen gardeners and landscape enthusiasts.

Removing Product Backgrounds in Photoshop

Using the Pen Tool in Photoshop

The pen tool is the most accurate way to 'clear-cut' or remove the background from your product pictures. It does require some practice to get the hang of, but once mastered it is invaluable.

The idea is to draw 'a path' around your product with a series of points and curves. With a bit of practice you can make a very precise path and using the different states of the pen tool, you can easily go back and adjust the path, adding or deleting points and using the handles to fit the curves more  accurately. Once drawn, the path can be saved and then used to create a selection  to extract the product from the background.
